II: 52

Chapter 2, Verse 52

“When your understanding has passed
Beyond the thickets of delusion,
There is nothing you need to learn
From even the most sacred scripture.”

Father Bede Griffiths:

“The idea is that one is no longer dependent upon any kind of revelation from outside but is rather united totally to spirit within.”

Eckhart Tolle:

“The equivalent of external noise is the inner noise of thinking. The equivalent of external silence is inner stillness. Whenever there is some silence around you, listen to it. That means just notice it. Pay attention to it. See that in the moment of noticing, you are not thinking. You are aware, but not thinking. You are present. You have stepped out of thousands of years of collective human conditioning.”

Osho:

"If one can learn how to listen rightly, one has learned the deepest secret of meditation."
