Chapter 4, Verse 38
"There is no purifier on Earth
As great as this wisdom.
Those made whole in Yoga
Experience this truth
In their heart of hearts."
Srila Prabhupada:
"There is nothing so sublime and pure as this transcendental wisdom, the mature fruit of devotional service to the Lord. When one is situated in it, one need not search for peace elsewhere, for that peace is felt within oneself."
Sri Eknath Easwaran:
"Even if in the past we have lived selfishly, often trying to snatch happiness at the expense of others, this wisdom will reduce our big funeral pyre of Karma to ash. Be not despondent over the past. Let it not become oppressive. All of the past with all of its lessons will fall away from us if we turn our eyes to the Lord with a one-pointed mind and a heart full of faith and devotion, as we travel untiringly towards the goal of unbroken union. This is Krishna's promise."
